NEPO, formerly known as the North East Procurement Organisation, has announced a new public sector framework with a total value of £800 million.
The framework will run from April 2023 to 2029.
Contractors and consultants will be selected to work on a range of projects from new builds to extensions and refurbishments.
The framework covers a vast range of sectors such as, schools and universities, libraries, residential and commercial work, as well as civic and heritage buildings.
A notice on the framework states that businesses might need to have specialist trade skills, such as, demolition, civil engineering, and infrastructure expertise.
The framework is broken down into lots based on location and value – a maximum of ten contractors will be appointed.
