£1bn New Build Housing Frameworks announces winning firms

Public sector procurement body LHC have announced thirty-two contractors that have secured a place on their new four year, £1bn new build housing framework, running until September 2026.

All firms chosen cover care homes, student accommodation, a mix of disciplines for low and high-rise housing, as well as specialist trade contractors for groundworks and demolition.

LHC London and South East, and Consortium Procurement Construction in the North and Midlands will operate this framework.

Dean Fazackerley, Head of Technical Procurement at LHC, said “The new H2 framework in England will equip providers to meet ongoing housing challenges withing the public sector, addressing local housing demand while maintaining momentum in their journey towards the production of zero carbon homes.

“It’s hugely important that we continue to respond to the housing needs of local populations while at the same time looking to the future, creating healthier environments that embody social, human and environmental considerations.”
